A clear roadmap to fossil-free heating

2024 – 25% Non-fossil 

 

Pan-European introduction of fuels produced with 25% renewable raw materials*, replacing earlier hybrid solutions. 

2025–2026 – 51% Non-fossil 

 

Expanded introduction of fuels produced with 51% renewable raw materials*, depending on availability and consumer acceptance.

2027–2030 – 100% Non-fossil 

 

Targeting a full range of 100% fossil-free fuels*, subject to raw material availability and regulatory developments.

Our next generation fuels are ISCC+ (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) certified. This means that this innovative fuel meets strict criteria for sustainability, traceability, and social responsibility throughout the entire production chain. What is the Mass Balance Approach?

The mass balance approach is a method used to account for the proportion of renewable
raw materials in a mixed production process. This approach allows for the mixing of
renewable and non-renewable materials within the same production system while
ensuring that the declared percentage of renewable content is accurately tracked and credited.
