The laser heater: that will get you warm (quickly)!
Description
The laser heater: it will warm you up (in no time)!
When it gets colder outside, the thermostat inside often gets turned up immediately. Understandable, but also very costly, especially now that energy prices are at an all-time high. Fortunately, there are alternatives that provide targeted heating, helping you save on energy. One of those alternatives is a portable fuel heater like the laser heater – the ideal and safe supplementary heating solution for larger rooms in your home.
A modern alternative to the traditional kerosene heater
Today’s laser heater is a type of fuel heater. This term refers to heaters previously known as kerosene or paraffin heaters. This supplementary heater with a modern control panel offers several advantages over other heat sources. To start, it has low operating costs compared to some other heating options. Below, we highlight the other benefits one by one.
Small in size, big in performance
Like the wick heater, the laser heater is the size of a small suitcase, making it easy to move from one room to another. It’s simple to transport with this special cart. Unlike the wick heater, the laser heater has a fan, making it much more effective and well-suited for larger spaces, such as the living room, a large attic, or the bedroom. The fan in the laser heater distributes warmth evenly across the space, expanding its reach, so a few extra square meters are no problem for this powerhouse.
Precision heating
The laser heater makes it easy to achieve the perfect temperature in your home. This fuel heater is entirely electronically controlled. Through the built-in thermostat with a timer, you set the exact temperature you want for a particular time. This ensures a warm living room, bedroom, or any other space exactly when you want it. You can also preset the timer to turn off at a specific time.
Highly energy-efficient
The laser heater is perhaps the most efficient of all fuel heaters. Fuel is electronically injected into the burner, ensuring only the fuel needed is used. Once the set temperature is reached, the power-save function automatically adjusts the burn level, optimizing fuel usage and saving energy. The heater requires a small amount of electricity for ignition, the fan, and the thermostat, but as the power consumption is minimal, the laser heater remains a highly energy-efficient way to provide extra warmth.
Take it with you
Going camping or to a holiday home? The compact and lightweight laser heater also provides extra warmth outdoors. It does require electricity for multiple functions but consumes very low power.
No smell
People often wonder if such a fuel heater emits a noticeable smell. The answer is no, not while it’s running. Especially when using our highest-quality Qlima Kristal (A+++) fuel, which is virtually odorless. The only times you might notice a slight smell are at startup and shutdown, comparable to the brief scent of a lit match, which quickly dissipates.
Low maintenance
A laser heater, when used with the proper fuel, is convenient and low maintenance. It’s always ready to use, with no need for regular part replacements. So yes, it’s quite low-maintenance.
Safe heating
Supplementary heating with a fuel heater like a laser or wick heater is a safe way to heat. These heaters are equipped with an advanced safety sensor that controls combustion and temperature. If the heater tips over, it shuts off instantly, even before reaching the ground. The same happens if oxygen levels in the room are too low.
Output: 3.1 to 4.6 kW
The heat output of a heater is measured in kilowatts (kW). The higher the output, the more heat the heater produces. Of course, maximum output or efficiency isn’t always the priority. Many calculations assume a heater as the main heat source, but in practice, it’s often used for supplementary heating.
Wick heater or laser heater?
There are several ways to provide extra warmth with a portable heater. The wick heater and laser heater are somewhat similar.
The main advantage of the laser heater is that it often includes useful extra functions. A timer, for example, along with an economy mode and thermostat. With the thermostat, it’s easier to maintain a stable temperature in a room. Unlike the wick heater, the laser heater does require a small amount of electricity for ignition, display, and fan control.
Hot fact
Want to enjoy your first cup of hot coffee or tea in a warm room?
Many laser heaters have a built-in timer, which you can set in advance. Are you starting your workday early with a morning call? There’s no need for cold feet. Your workspace will be as warm as that first cup of coffee or tea, as long as you’ve set the time and temperature. The laser heater will do the rest.
