A single system for cool, warm and filtered air

Qlima monobloc WDH 235 PTC is not a ‘conventional air conditioning unit’. It's a heat pump system. This means that you can influence the room temperature all year round. On sunny summer days, this unit will cool you down in a flash. On cooler spring or autumn days, enjoy comfortable warmth by activating the heating function. Don't think of it as a main heater, as the monobloc is not designed for really harsh winters, as it has insufficient heating capacity.

Healthy for you and your home

When the monobloc is in cooling mode, the air is automatically ventilated, dehumidified and purified at the same time. This is good for your own health, but also for the health of the room. Poor ventilation encourages damp and mould. In a well-ventilated house, they don't stand a chance.

Is the WDH235 PTC Monoblock air conditioner right for you?

For whom: all homeowners need to drill a hole in the wall.

This is an indoor unit (without outdoor unit) capable of heating or cooling rooms of up to 44m²*.

Installation: you can do it yourself. Perhaps with a little help, but it will save you the expense of an installer.

Heating: same room so a few degrees warmer

Good to know: the heating function is not meant to heat your whole house, especially on days of harsh winter weather. Heating larger rooms in your home? Then our pellet stoves might be an idea.

An air conditioner or a heat pump?

Most people will say ‘I bought a great air conditioner now!’ when talking about the Qlima WDH 235 PTC Monoblock. Airco is front of mind, as the cooling function is the most commonly used. But technically, it is a heat pump. That's what we call all air-conditioned systems that can cool as well as heat.

The Qlima WDH 235 PTC Monoblock Air Conditioner has two separate air flows, completely separate from each other. One draws the cooling air from outside. The heat from inside is removed to the outside. When it gets colder, you easily reverse that process. The refrigerant then flows in the other direction. In that case, the heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and blows the warm air inside.
