Description
Fan Heater: Super-fast targeted warmth
Blowing warm air quickly through a room: the fan heater is unbeatable at this. With this compact heater, you’ll feel your feet warm up within a minute—if it’s directed at your feet, of course. And this quick heater has more benefits: it’s easy to move from one room to another, and it comes in various designs.
Here’s how the fan heater works:
The fan heater works like a hot air fan. The heater sucks in the surrounding warm air, heats it with a heating element, and then blows the air into the room using a fan, where it rises. The fan heater is similar to a turbo convection heater.
But there’s an important difference: the fan heater can be tilted to adjust the wind direction as you prefer.
Advantages of heating with the fan heater:
Suitable for quickly heating rooms (up to around 80 m³)
Distributes the air quickly through the room
Available in many different designs and models
Lightweight and easy to move
Automatically switches off if it tips over or overheats
Equipped with an adjustable thermostat
Some models come with a timer and remote control
Inexpensive to buy
Pick it up and place it down
The fan heater is compact and easy to take wherever you need it. For example, to the laundry room, shed, or attic. This little powerhouse is perfect for smaller spaces where you don’t stay long and where you quickly need the comfort of extra warmth. Once you turn off the fan heater, it immediately stops emitting heat. Plus, the heater automatically switches off when its temperature becomes too high, thanks to our special overheating protection.
Automatic shut-off
Some Qlima fan heaters have a built-in thermostat. Very handy because you don’t have to keep checking whether the room has reached the desired temperature. The thermostat does that for you. Once the set temperature is reached, the heater automatically shuts off. Some models can even be controlled from the couch via the remote control.
Electric heater, gas heater, or fuel heater?
You choose an electric heater when you want to quickly heat a room by a few degrees. Most electric heaters have a power output of up to 2 kilowatts. A fuel heater has more power and picks up where electric heaters leave off. A gas heater can reach up to 4.2 kilowatts, but it’s also bigger and bulkier, making it less portable. Plus, you need to ask yourself if you want to buy gas bottles to power it.
