How does the Qlima D 812 Smart Dehumidifier work?
Knowledge is power! That’s why the D 812 features a built-in hygrometer to measure the humidity in your home. If the level is too high, the dehumidifier immediately gets to work.
Here’s how it works: the fan pulls in moist air through the three-layer filter. This air is then cooled, causing it to condense. The moisture is collected in the built-in reservoir or is drained directly through a connected hose. The result? Dry, filtered air that is blown back into the room at room temperature.

It’s not called "Smart" for nothing—the D 812 Smart is always one step ahead of moisture. In addition to the hygrometer for measuring humidity, the device also has a hygrostat, allowing you to easily set the humidity level that feels comfortable for you. And for added convenience, the dehumidifier can be controlled remotely with the Smart Life app. Handy!
Do you sometimes forget to turn off electrical devices after use? You’re not alone, especially with devices as quiet as the D 812. With the timer function, which can be set for up to 6 hours, you can save yourself some worry. Add to that the auto-stop feature when the water tank is full, and you won’t have to think about a thing.
Is the D 812 Smart Dehumidifier Right for You?
The D 812 is all about ease of use. It works best in spaces up to 35 m² and is also suitable for use in the bathroom, as it is splash-proof. Thanks to its compact size and wheels, you can easily move the device to the next room.
The removable water reservoir can hold up to 2 liters of moisture, but you also have the option to connect a flexible drainage hose, eliminating the need to empty the tank manually. If you prefer a dehumidifier with even more capacity and a larger water tank, the Qlima D 820 A Smart is a bit larger but also more powerful. For colder spaces, like a basement or caravan, the DD 808 is an excellent choice.
